Why Age Matters to Car Insurance Companies
What is the reason for this? Car insurance companies believe that there drivers belonging to a particular age group are better risk drivers than the rest. Following this line of thought, companies believe that teenagers or young adults are bad risk drivers. The same is true for the age group at the extreme opposite end of the spectrum – the seniors. Bad risk drivers are, as the term implies, those who are deemed more likely to be involved in wrecks, crashes or accidents.
